Opening Ceremonies

This is my friend Angela reminding us to be on our best behavior.

Some sweet photography!

These are the Twin Arches in Arches Nat'l Park. Awesome sight!

You think you got good balance? This is obviously called "Balanced Rock" in Arches National Park.

The famous "Delicate Arch"

LOOKS FAKE, LIKE A SUPER-IMPOSED IMAGE, HUH! NOT! This is the real thing and everyone stops to see it.

THINK ABOUT THIS... This is the view we saw while taking the last picture. Pretty Awesome shot, HUH? That's Angela's Artistic Eye for ya!! Go Ange...

This is me standing on THE EDGE of Porcupine Rim. Someone was actually buried 50 ft to my right because that was his favorite place to visit.

This is me climbing "Slickrock" trail. We arrived on a Thursday nite and set up camp. The guys then took me to this trail (RELUCTANTLY) to break me in. Needless to say, it was my FIRST NIGHT RIDE!!! I would've been reluctant myself about riding this at nite if I saw this extreme terrain beforehand. GOOD THING I DIDN'T! IT'S WIIIIIIIILD!

These are my teammates. They are awesome riders. This was the calm before the storm. We were on the Slickrock trail overlooking the Colorado River! WOW!!

This is the start of the race, it happens to be the most exciting part! Everyone lines up and a cannon is shot. The bikers run 200 yards to their bikes. This is called a LeMans style start.

AND THEY'RE OFF!!!!!!!!

Talk about a "Cluster Scene"

This is the start of the bike race, what a DUSTY RUSH!!

This is my 1st Lap, descending down a STEEP hill in 6 inches of desert sugar sand. This is OOC! (OUT OF CONTROL!)

This was the check-point and I was coming in from a COLD ride! Next up, GRAVEYARD SHIFT!!!

This is our hotel in Moab. They have many different style rooms like, 50's art deco, Theatrical Room, our Western Room, and many other themes! A really kewl and quint place to stay! I very much needed this after the race!!!

Well, that was one trip to mark down in the record books as fun!!! I hope you enjoyed your full tour of my weekend!
