For the past 10 years I've been traveling throughout the world and
I've seen many things. I've done what so many have enjoyed, and not only
want to continue, but long to return to the places I've been. This is just
a small scrapbook of the sites I've seen and I hope to continue to make it
larger. Click any link to view a memory.
Busch Gardens was a nice way to spend a quiet holiday weekend. Before we spent the holiday with U Frank & A BoBo we came here for the hell of it and strolled around the zoo.
Miami, well, what can I say? Yup, it's a dump! But Lotz goes on here! I bought a new computer, did a friend a favor, and, HUH! ended up on the BUD AIRSHIP!!! 'magine dat! AWESOME! That's all I can say to describe it!
Moab, Utah is the mountain bikers heaven, the "MECCA", you name it, it's all that. Most fun I've had in a town with very little to do and SO MUCH to see!!!
Germany was the most fun-filled country I've
every set foot in. There were wine festivals nearly every weekend where the wine of that region
would flow faster than water. The people were very friendly and cordial which made the experience
much more enjoyable. Getting ice in your "Coke" is only upon request, and no, not often can you get
a beer in McDonalds. I saw Metallica and U2 perform while I lived here.
Italy was the most interesting country I've visited.
It was so awesome and had such a cool culture that I made a trip there 3 weekends in a row.
Each weekend I hit at least 2 cities and met the nicest people who spoke little or no English (unlike
the French who know it but refuse to speak it!)
Key West may just be a few hours away but is always
a pleasure to visit. Many Floridians fail to see any of Florida's Keys in thier lifetime but it is the
closest "Escape to Paradise" we have by car. The Sunset's are always beautiful and usually
receive much applause for those who gather on the pier to celebrate it's beauty.
New York has a nightlife of 24 hours. The energy
is pumped into you the moment you enter the city. The hustle and bustle is a way of life and all of
the "New Yorkers" seem to love it. If you're a night owl, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU.
North Carolina is a very relaxing and scenic
state. I enjoyed the hikes, mountain biking, and the skiing is good for a weekend getaway. It is the
closest state where the EXTREME person likes to play. If you like the outdoors and fresh air, this state
has it and more.
Paris was the most intriguing city I've ever visited.
It was ROMANTIC and full of life and plenty of fashion. The people care not for tourists but
how easily forget why they have jobs. Without tourists these people probably wouldn't survive
in this cluttered yet beautiful city. I recommend this for everyone to see but try not to
mingle and enjoy the PARISITES!!!.
Switzerland, ahhhh, the land of Alps. I haven't
skied, climbed, or even seen them yet, but the Fondue is fabulous along with the Steak Tartar. The
people were friendly and as I said the food was AWESOME! The buses are electric like the old trolley
cars with cables above them that supply their power. This is where the original Victorinox Swiss Army
Knife® and the wrist-watch Tag Heuer® are made. The train ride along the mountain cliffs was a
sight to see.
